Introduction
This instruction describes the recommended test procedure for troubleshooting an open circuit alarm for an Airmaster propeller system, as indicated by the AC200 controller displaying three LEDs flashing red (1 flash/sec). This test requires the operator to sequentially measure voltage across three main regions of the propeller circuit: the slipring, the hub and the pitch change motor. The earliest instance of a 0V reading will help to isolate the offending circuit region, and further inspection or testing may be performed as necessary to identify the component at fault.
